Encyclopedia of Child Behavior and Development

Sam Goldstein | Jack A. Naglieri

Education / Educational Psychology

As one of Springer’s major reference works, this publication lives up to the exacting standards that have come to be expected of such high-profile material. The Encyclopedia of Child Behavior and Development breaks new ground as an electronic resource for students, educators, researchers and professionals. Its all-inclusive coverage is a comprehensive repository of knowledge in this complex field as well as being an effortlessly referenced resource for an enormous range of practitioners. To facilitate consultation by users, the encyclopedia is divided into three volumes that each covers one of the key branches of the field. The first deals with learning, the second behavior and the third is a storehouse of information about childhood emotions. What’s more, Springer’s clever use of the potential offered by the electronic medium has generated an extensive cross-referencing system as well as providing ready access to more specialized, in-depth material.
