A Comprehensive SBA Exam Guide
Ahmad Hariri | Heide Mills
Final membership exams can be a significant challenge for trainees, particularly with the increasing prevalence of single best answer (SBA) components. Many candidates struggle with this format due to a lack of targeted resources aligned with the ENT syllabus. Mastering ENT Surgery, part of the specialised Mastering series, bridges that gap, providing expertly curated SBA practice questions designed to enhance understanding and refine exam technique.
Covering key topics across ENT surgery, this comprehensive resource features dedicated sections on head and neck surgery, facial aesthetics, rhinology, otology, and paediatric ENT. Each question is accompanied by detailed explanations that reinforce core concepts, clarify common misconceptions, and provide evidence-based rationales for correct answers. The structured format enables readers to systematically build their knowledge base while developing the critical thinking skills essential for success in SBA examinations. Beyond exam preparation, the book offers valuable clinical insights that enhance day-to-day practice and decision-making.
Mastering ENT Surgery is an essential resource for ENT trainees preparing for final membership examinations and equivalent postgraduate qualifications. It also provides valuable insights for professionals in related specialties, including oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS), plastic surgery, and emergency medicine. Whether you are a trainee seeking to master the SBA format or an experienced surgeon looking to expand your expertise across ENT subspecialties, this resource is tailored to meet your learning needs.
