Telecom AI Unlocked

From Strategy to Deployment

Roman Ferrando-Llopis | Ignacio Más

Computers / Artificial Intelligence / General

Telecom AI Unlocked is an independent guide to artificial intelligence in telecommunications, helping telecom operators turn AI ambition into measurable results. Covering AI adoption, network operations, customer experience, automation, governance, and deployment, it shows how to move from boardroom strategy to production at scale.

Written as three books in one, it serves the executive who decides, the leader who delivers, and the practitioner who builds. The book examines what major operators tell the press and analysts about AI versus what they report in audited filings, maps telecom AI use cases to real evidence, and provides practical frameworks for deciding where to invest. It also connects use cases to model families, telecom datasets, and deployment methods, while addressing MLOps, model drift, changing network environments, and the realities of agentic AI. Throughout, it emphasizes judgment, governance, and commercial discipline as much as technical capability.

This is an essential resource for telecom executives, product and delivery leaders, data scientists, and students of applied AI. In a market crowded with AI hype, vendor claims, and pressure to invest quickly, Telecom AI Unlocked offers a clear, commercially grounded roadmap for operators seeking competitive advantage, smarter investment decisions, and lasting value from AI.
