His previous publications on Conrad includes \u003ci\u003eConrad's Secrets\u003c\/i\u003e (2012) and \u003ci\u003eJoseph Conrad: A Critical Life\u003c\/i\u003e (2020).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eVéronique Pauly\u003c\/b\u003e is Senior Lecturer at the University of Versailles-St-Quentin-en-Yvelines\/University of Paris-Saclay, France a former Director of the Institut d'études culturelles et internationelles, and a researcher at the Centre d'Histoire Culturelle des Sociétés Contemporaines.
