She was editor (with Anthony Wilson, Andrew Lambirth, and Myra Barrs) of \u003ci\u003eMaking Poetry Happen\u003c\/i\u003e (Bloomsbury, 2015) and \u003ci\u003eMaking Poetry Matter\u003c\/i\u003e (Bloomsbury, 2015) and was author of \u003ci\u003eDrafting and Assessing Poetry: a guide for teachers \u003c\/i\u003e(2003) and \u003ci\u003eTeaching English Texts 11-18\u003c\/i\u003e (Bloomsbury, 2009). She was external evaluator for the Paul Hamlyn \u003ci\u003eFirst Story\u003c\/i\u003e Student Ambassadors scheme, a member of NAWE Higher Education committee and Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature wider board. As a poet, educator and academic, her impact on poetry teaching was internationally recognised. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eAnthony Wilson\u003c\/b\u003e is a poet, writing tutor and Senior Lecturer in Primary English at the University of Exeter, UK, where he works in teacher and medical education.
