David P. Goldberg is a Professor of Chemistry at Johns Hopkins University. He received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is a former NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University. His research spans synthetic inorganic chemistry, inorganic reaction mechanisms, analogs of heme and nonheme metalloenzymes, and small-molecule activation relevant to biochemical transformations, energy, and catalysis. He was elected a AAAS Fellow in 2021 and received the ACS Maryland Chemist of the Year Award in 2024.
