Natural Compounds and Alternative Therapies for Hepatitis
Subrat Kumar Pattanayak
Unlock the future of hepatitis-specific drug discovery with this comprehensive, one-stop guide that bridges the gap between natural pharmacology and cutting-edge AI to advance phytochemical-based hepatitis treatment research.
The computational analysis of phytochemicals against hepatitis is an emerging area of biomedical and pharmaceutical science that combines infectious disease research, natural product pharmacology, and computational biology. Focusing on plant-derived compounds, the book explores their potential effectiveness against hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E through both computational and experimental approaches. It provides readers with a strong foundation in hepatitis pathology while examining how molecular docking, pharmacology, machine learning, and artificial intelligence are transforming hepatitis drug discovery. Featuring expert insights, real-world case studies, and the latest developments in bioinformatics and computational drug design, the book serves as a comprehensive reference for researchers working at the intersection of natural compounds and modern therapeutic development.
Subrat Kumar Pattanayak, PhD, is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India. He has published 35 papers in international journals and conference proceedings, authored 25 book chapters, and participated in more than 85 scientific symposia. His research focuses on molecular dynamics simulations, protein structure and dynamics, hydrogen-bonding interactions in biological systems, and the binding behavior of phytochemicals with wild-type and mutant proteins.
