The book contains an overview and description of the main issues that go along with the hardening process of early age concrete.  The book contains 9 chapters which, in general terms, reflect the main results deduced from work done by the authors in collaboration with their PhD students. The purpose of the work is to provide researchers and PhD students a general basis of knowledge in the field of hardening concrete and to bridge the gap between academic research results and applicability in practice.
