He is a member of the \u003ci\u003eInstitut de Droit International\u003c\/i\u003e and the President of the Israel United Nations Association. In the past, he served as President, Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Law of Tel Aviv University. Prof. Dinstein is the Editor of the\u003ci\u003e Israel Yearbook on Human Rights\u003c\/i\u003e and the author of several books on the laws of war. He has served twice as the Stockton Professor of International Law at the U.S. Naval War College; a Humboldt Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for International Law (Heidelberg); a Meltzer Visiting Professor of Law at New York University; and a Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Toronto.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eArne Willy Dahl\u003c\/b\u003e is retired Judge Advocate General for the Norwegian armed forces.
