The corpus, constituted of 359 different editions featuring\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSacrobosco’s treatise on cosmology and astronomy printed between 1472 and 1650,\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003erepresents the scientific European shared knowledge concerned with the cosmological\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eworldview of the early modern period until far after the publication of Copernicus’ \u003ci\u003eDe\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003erevolutionibus orbium coelestium\u003c\/i\u003e in 1543.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe contributions to this volume show how the academic book trade influenced the\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eprocess of homogenization of scientific knowledge.
