Its first part covers the fundamentals of and recent advances in the legal protection insurance market, while the second presents a study on the relevant legal framework for offering Legal Technology services as a legal protection insurer in Germany. In this context, the study also defines the term “Legal Technology”, categorises Legal Technology services (“application-oriented categorisation”), analyses the relevant European legal framework and highlights the connections to the upcoming European Artificial Intelligence Act.
