This volume presents interdisciplinary and intersectional contributions that highlight the state of the art in the fields of intercultural dialogue, fundamental rights, and diversity management. The volume surveys traditional and contemporary practices related to interculturalism, multiculturalism, cultural diversity, and cultural pluralism, including interreligious dialogue, intercultural mediation, as well as intercultural and human rights education. By presenting good practices and tools, the book aims to stimulate academic dialogue and promote interculturalism and tolerance for cultural diversity.

The book will appeal to students, researchers, and scholars in political science, law, sociology, education, and business and management, as well as to policymakers and practitioners interested in a better understanding of intercultural dialogue and diversity management.

Despoina Anagnostopoulou is a Professor of EU Law and Policies at the Department of International & European Studies at the University of Macedonia (Greece) since 2004, also teaching at the Open University of Cyprus and at the Hellenic Open University.  Previously, Professor Anagnostopoulou worked as a researcher at the Centre of International and European Economic Law (Greece)  for 11 years. She has been awarded a Jean Monnet Chair (2012-2015 and 2025-2028) and the UNESCO Chair of "Intercultural Policy for an Active Citizenship and Solidarity" since 2014. She has also been the Academic Coordinator of the Jean Monnet EU VaDis Project and of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence "Research on Crucial Issues of European Integration" at the University of Macedonia.
