Throughout his career, Dr. Gürgen has contributed to various industrial and research projects in collaboration with organizations such as Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), TUSAS Engine Industries (TEI), Fiat Automotive Industry, and the Turkish Air Force. His projects have been funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), the European Union (EU), and other local and international funders. He has a substantial publication record, with numerous articles in refereed international journals and edited and authored books and book chapters. Dr. Gürgen also serves as an editorial member for several international journals.
