This book covers the fundamental principles of organic chemistry, along with a brief survey of some reactions of the most important functional groups and a concise introduction to spectroscopy. The intent is to provide an overview of organic chemistry sufficient for students of biology and biochemistry.

Charles Perrin is currently a Distinguished Professor of Emeritus, recalled to active service.
