This book is a comprehensive exploration of the latest advancements in the treatment of pineal tumors.

The following chapters are dedicated to elucidating the intricate anatomy and microsurgical details of the pineal and its adjacent region and provide a comprehensive overview of clinical manifestations associated with pineal tumors in both children and adults.

The radiological tools employed for diagnosing pineal tumors are also discussed, and the decisional tree for devising therapeutic strategies described.

The last part is focused on complementary treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, on the evaluation of their efficacy and on the survival rates of pineal tumor patients. It also explores the short-term and long-term sequels of pineal tumors.
