This book is devoted to the study of the problem of sustainable development of rural territories. Professor Aziza B. Karbekova is a Doctor of Economics, Professor in the Department of Economics, Accounting, and Finance, Director of the Agrarian-Technical Institute, Coordinator of the Technology and Innovation Support Center, and Chair of the Public Professional Committee at B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University (Manas, Kyrgyzstan). She has authored over 120 publications, 21 of which are in Scopus (H-index: 6). She is also the editor of two books for special issues of international peer-reviewed scientific journals. She is a member of the editorial boards of the Eurasian Journal of Scientific and Multidisciplinary Research, Economics of Sustainable Development, Bulletin of Osh State University, and Bulletin of Jalal-Abad State University.
She is a laureate of the 2014 Akyl-Tirek Prize. Karbekova is an Honorary Citizen of Jalal-Abad.
