Despite significant advances in non-conventional techniques, conventional machining remains a cost-effective and straightforward solution for composite manufacturing. This book offers practical guidance on traditional machining techniques specifically designed for composite materials. It covers essential processes such as turning, milling, and drilling while providing valuable insights into process design and the challenges associated with machining composites. Detailed discussions emphasize minimizing delamination, tool wear, and fiber pull-out, offering machining strategies that lead to high-quality results.
Traditional Approaches to Composite Machining is ideal for professionals in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and related industries, bridging the gap between conventional machining methods and the increasing demands of composite material fabrication.
