Jen Baker is Associate Professor of Literature at the University of Warwick, UK, with research interests in and publications on child death, the Gothic, and the short form. She is editor of Minor Hauntings (2021).

Henry Bartholomew is a Lecturer at the Global Banking School, UK. He is the editor of three anthologies of supernatural fiction and of a 2025 special issue of Gothic Studies on Algernon Blackwood.

Joan Passey is Lecturer in English at the University of Bristol, UK, specialising in representations of coasts and seascapes and on the Gothic from the eighteenth century to the present. She has edited anthologies with the British Library.
