It contains cases to aid understanding, as well as helpful pearls and pitfalls along with a chapter summary for quick glance for each condition. Most current offerings are either very general, very specific or geared toward orthopedic surgeons and trainees. One of the major additions to this edition is a new section on preventative exercises for each condition-related chapter, when appropriate. There is also a completely new chapter that focuses specifically on healthy athlete behaviors. Both of these new developments help add an angle of preventative care to this edition that wasn’t as present in the first.
