Written by experts in the field, the book provides an introductory framework that examines the historical aspects of adolescent HIV, and the epidemiology of the disease, health disparities and legal and ethical issues affecting HIV infected and at risk adolescents and young adults. Subsequent sections will focus on prevention and treatment and closing chapters will highlight issues specific to special populations within this demographic.
