The book Innovating Business Education for Responsible Global Minds" offers a timely and nuanced exploration of the critical role of innovation in business education. The book argues that innovation in business education is not simply a question of updating content, but of a radical pedagogical and philosophical transformation. It advocates for a shift away from a narrow focus on shareholder primacy and financial metrics and toward “responsible global mindsets” in future leaders. This needs to integrate interdisciplinary perspectives, embed ethics and sustainability as essential pillars in their pedagogy, and emphasise experiential learning in real-world contexts. To this end, business schools need to nurture critical thinking, systems understanding, and a sense of social and environmental stewardship. The various contributions show we can create graduates who are not only competent managers but also conscientious global citizens capable of driving positive, systemic change. The book serves as a practical guide for educators in a world which is deeply interconnected.
