After five years, and a brief tenure at a private hospital in Marbella, Spain, she relocated to La Paz Hospital in Bata, Equatorial Guinea, in 2013. There, she spent one and a half years gaining invaluable experience in a resource-limited setting, learning to navigate the challenges of providing care with minimal resources.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2015, Mara moved to Dublin, Ireland, where she initially worked at the Beacon Hospital before continuing her career at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. During her time in Dublin, she furthered her academic and clinical training, ultimately earning a postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing from University College of Dublin.
