This book includes selected papers presented at the 6th International Conference on Data Engineering and Communication Technology (ICDECT 2025), held in Bhubaneswar, India, during 1–2 December 2025. Vikrant Bhateja is associate professor in Department of Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (UNSIET), Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is also serving as Head: Computer Sc. Engg. & Information Technology in the same university. He holds a doctorate in ECE (Bio-Medical Imaging) with a total academic teaching experience of 21 years with around 190 publications in reputed international conferences, journals and online book chapter contributions; out of which 40 papers are published in SCIE indexed high impact factored journals. One of his papers published in Review of Scientific Instruments (RSI) Journal (under American International Publishers) has been selected as “Editor Choice Paper of the Issue'' in 2016.

Junali Jasmine Jena has above 5 years of experience in teaching under-graduate and post-graduate students in the field of Computer Science and Information technology. She has graduated from Parala Maharaja Engg. College, Berhampur, Odisha (govt. funded institution) and did her Masters from VSSUT, Burla, Odisha(govt. funded university). She completed her Ph.D. in the area of Evolutionary Algorithms with 7 SCI publications.

Siba K Udgata is a Professor in the School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad (Institute of Eminence). He served Centre for Modelling, Simulation and Design (CMSD) as a Director between year 2012 to 2016. He has a Masters and PhD in Computer Science. He was a United Nations Fellow and worked in the United Nations University/International Institute for Software Technology (UNU/IIST), Macau as research fellow in the year 2001. He is a recipient of IBM SUR (Shared University Research) award grant for the project “Mobile Sensor Network based Disaster Management System with special emphasis on Rescue Management System”. His research focus is on intelligent algorithms for wireless communication, mobile computing, IoT and sensor network.

Milan Simic holds PhD, Masters and Bachelor of Electronics Engineering, and Graduate Diploma in Education. He is currently with RMIT University, School of Engineering. At the same time, he is Professor: MB, Faculty of Business and Law, Belgrade, Serbia; Adjunct Professor: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), School of Computer Engineering, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India; Honorary Editor: KES Journal; Editor: International Transactions on Evolutionary and Metaheuristic Algorithms; Former Associate Director: Australia-India Research Centre for Automation Software Engineering, RMIT University. He has comprehensive experience from industry (Honeywell Information Systems), Research institute and Academia, from Europe and Australia. For his innovations and other contributions, he has received prestigious awards and recognitions. Dr Simic is member of large number of engineering and science associations.
