This book includes new research results presented at International Conference on Advanced Materials for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Infrastructure (ICAM-SEEi 2025), held during November 26–28, 2025 at IITRAM, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The book covers works from researchers, scientists, engineers, policymakers, and industry leaders. It covers a wide range of interdisciplinary topics, including advanced materials for energy storage and conversion, such as batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells, and solar energy materials.
Dr. Sourav Das is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research, And Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He completed his master’s degree in chemistry from IIT Guwahati and received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (2014). Later, he carried out his postdoctoral research at DGIST, South Korea (2014-15). Dr. Das's research focuses on synthetic inorganic and coordination chemistry, particularly the design of heterometallic (3d-4f) and homometallic (4f) coordination complexes for applications in molecular magnetism, catalysis, sensing, electrocatalysis, and sustainable energy. His scientific contributions have earned him several recognitions, including the prestigious SERB Early Career Research Award (2017-2020) from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. In 2022, he was recognized among the World's Top 2% Scientists in a global ranking compiled by Stanford University and published by Elsevier.
Dr. Ravi Kashikar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of South Florida (USF), USA. Prior to joining IIT Bhilai, he served as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida and later as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences (Physics) at the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research, And Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad. His research interests are centered on computational materials science, with a particular emphasis on electronic structure calculations and multiferroicity in organic and inorganic halide perovskites.
Dr. Junseong Lee earned his bachelor’s (2001), master’s (2003), and Ph.D. (2007) degrees from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where he was mentored by Prof. Youngkyu Do. After completing his doctoral studies, Dr. Lee continued his research as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Utah at 2008, working under the guidance of Prof. Peter J. Stang, Former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS). Following this, he joined Chonnam National University in 2010, where he has made significant contributions to the academic community as a Full Professor and published over 200 papers to date. He received the Young Inorganic Chemist Award in 2022 from the Korean Chemical Society. Dr. Lee served as the Public Relations Director of the Korean Chemical Society from 2020 to 2021. He also worked as an Associate Dean of Planning and Coordination at Chonnam National University from 2022 to 2025.
