Cell Culture for Universal Application

Laboratory Protocols and Implementation Strategies

Simone Badal

Science / Life Sciences / Biology

This innovative textbook addresses the critical gap between traditional cell culture education and the urgent need for diverse, representative research models in modern biomedical science. The book is divided into four sections covering laboratory fundamentals, essential protocols, diverse population applications, and implementation and management. It is a complement to its companion volume, Cell Culture Fundamentals and Diversity. The two volumes uniquely combine rigorous scientific methodology with ethical considerations, practical implementation strategies, and forward-thinking approaches to inclusive research design. Integrated learning objectives, case studies, critical thinking questions, suggested research projects, downloadable protocol templates, and more, help students digest the text. Downloadable teaching resources are also available for instructors, including presentation slides linking theory to practice, coordinated teaching materials, assessment banks with practical components, and suggested course structures for different needs.
