This comprehensive and authoritative handbook, the second of a two-volume series, brings together leading scholars to advance understanding of climate change education as a rapidly evolving and interdisciplinary field. While Volume 1 focused on foundational perspectives related to policy, curriculum, pedagogy, teacher education, informal learning, and climate communication, Volume 2 extends this work through critical examinations of justice, power, socio-ecological systems, ethical decision making, political action, multispecies futures, and the role of aesthetics and imagination in responding to climate change. Across diverse formal and informal learning contexts, the chapters address climate challenges from local to global scales and offer theoretical, conceptual, pedagogical, and empirical insights. By bridging research, policy, and practice, this volume provides an essential resource for researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners seeking to advance transformative and equitable approaches to climate change education.
