While there is ample agreement on the value of international collaborative research on migration there are few granular descriptions of how this work is initiated and managed, how roles and relationships are negotiated, and what contextual factors facilitate or impede the collaboration. This book helps scholars in the Global North and the Global South, as well as research administrators and funding agencies, develop a more nuanced understanding of international collaborative research.

Mehrunnisa Ahmad Ali is a Professor in the Faculty of Community Services at Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada and Principal Investigator of the DemiKnow project.
