The deterioration of water quality is of great concern because affect the aquatic organism, humans, and affected negatively the ecosystem. Water pollutants are sourced from different industrial sectors and predominantly from the anthropogenic activities. This edited book will cover the gap between the old and the new knowledge about the phytoremediation, also different associated approaches of biochar, microbes, soil amended materials in phytoremediation of pollutants. Further, specific emphasis will be given to mechanistic based aspects of phytoremediation and different pollutant removal. The genetically engineered phytoremediation in pollutants removal potentials and soil rehabilitation also will be the components of the book. This edited book will give the necessary basic knowledge to the new researchers who want to learn about the phytoremediation and the ways to subject them in pollutant eliminations. Moreover, it will be also helpful for the mature researchers in this field providing them new trends in wastewater treatment processes, and application of advance in phytoremediation etc.
