James Jin Kang is an Associate Professor who has taught across multiple countries and is currently based at RMIT University, Vietnam. He brings over 25 years of extensive experience spanning both the telecommunications industry and academia. He holds a PhD from Deakin University and master's degrees from UTS and KAIST. Recognized in the top 2% of scientists globally by Stanford University and Elsevier, his research specializes in cybersecurity, IoT security, data inference, and the safe integration of AI systems. Dr. Kang actively works at the intersection of AI and education, developing frameworks and practical guidance to help educators, families, and students responsibly navigate generative tools and prepare for an AI-driven workforce.
