József Prechl is a prominent immunologist from Hungary, renowned for his contributions to the field of antibody and complement research, particularly in the context of autoimmune diseases. Born in Hungary, Prechl pursued his academic journey at both the Eötvös Loránd University and Semmelweis University. He completed his medical degree and later earned a Ph.D. in immunology, laying a solid foundation for his future biomedical research endeavors. Currently he is a principal investigator at the Research and Development Laboratory of Diagnosticum Zrt., developing quantitative immunodiagnostic assays.
