He has also taught and mentored at the university level. His work has led to more than 100 patents, and he has been recognized with three \u003cem\u003eSTM Exceptional Patent Awards\u003c\/em\u003e in 2003, 2004, and 2005. He has published extensively in industry journals and at international conferences, and he is the author of several articles and books on microelectronics and memory technologies. He is married, has two children, and is the proud grandfather of Michele.
