This handbook examines how technology, sustainability, and governance are transforming tourism worldwide. Bringing together interdisciplinary research, it explores the role of artificial intelligence, data analytics, the Internet of Things, robotics, digital twins, immersive technologies, and smart tourism systems in reshaping destination management, hospitality, consumer behaviour, and visitor experiences. It also addresses circular economy practices, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, cultural heritage, inclusion, resilience, and human capital.
