Professor Rassias received his PhD in mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1976; his thesis advisor was Stephen Smale and his academic advisor was Shiing-Shen Chern. In addition to his extensive list of journal publications, professor Rassias has published as author or volume editor several books published with Springer. Th. M. Rassias has received several awards and is an active editorial board member of an array of journals in mathematical analysis and optimization.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eKamil Aidazade\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e is the head of the laboratory \"Decision-Making Methods and Their Applications\" at the Institute of Mathematics (Baku). He teaches courses in Mathematics, Numerical Methods and Statistics. He has published one book and more than 60 papers and has served as a conference chair and reviewer in many well-known journals.
