This book includes selected peer-reviewed papers presented at the International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Health Informatics (TEHI 2025), held at Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov, Samarkand, Uzbekistan, during November 7–8, 2025. The book is broadly divided into five sections—artificial intelligence and soft computing, healthcare informatics, Internet of things and data analytics, electronics, and communications.
M. Shamim Kaiser is a professor and ex-director at the Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in applied physics, Electronics, and Communication Engineering from the University of Dhaka in 2002 and 2004, respectively, and his Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, in 2010. With a strong research background, Dr. Kaiser served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Anglia Ruskin University, UK and Cambridge University, UK (2017–2018) and as a Special Research Student at Tohoku University, Japan (2008). His research spans Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Wireless Networks & Signal Processing, Cognitive Radio Networks, IoT, Healthcare Informatics, and Cybersecurity. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed papers in renowned journals and conferences.
Md. Sazzad Hossain is a distinguished academic at Samarkand State University and the Department Head of International Education Development at Synergy University, Moscow. With over 30 years of experience in higher education, research, and technology consulting, he has emerged as a leading voice in the fields of Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity. As a former Member of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh and Director of Bangladesh Satellite Company Ltd. from 2019-2024, Professor Hossain played a pivotal role in shaping national education and technology policies, with a special focus on digital transformation and space technology initiatives.
Anirban Bandyopadhyay is a Senior Scientist in the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan. PhD from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata 2005, December, on supramolecular electronics. 2005-2007: ICYS Research Fellow NIMS, Japan, 2007-now, permanent Scientist in NIMS, Japan. 10 patents on building artificial organic brain, big data, molecular bot, cancer & alzheimer drug, fourth circuit element etc. 2013-2014 a visiting scientist in MIT, USA, on biorhythms. World Technology Network, WTN Fellow, (2009-continued); Hitachi Science and Technology award 2010, Inamori Foundation award 2011-2012, Kurata Foundation Award, Inamori Foundation Fellow (2011-), Sewa Society International SSS Fellow (2012-), Japan; SSI Gold medal (2017).
Kanad Ray (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in physics from Calcutta University and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Jadavpur University, West Bengal, India. He has been a Professor of Physics and Electronics and Communication and is presently working as the Head of the Department of Physics, Amity School of Applied Sciences, Amity University Rajasthan (AUR), Jaipur, India. His current research areas of interest include cognition, communication, electromagnetic field theory, antenna and wave propagation, microwave, computational biology, and applied physics. He has been serving as an Editor for various Springer book series. He was an Associate Editor of the Journal of Integrative Neuroscience (The Netherlands: IOS Press).
Mufti Mahmud is a Professor in the Information and Computer Science Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in Information Engineering (Bioengineering) from the University of Padova, Italy, and multiple degrees in computer science from universities in India and Italy. With over 20 years of experience in academia and industry across several countries, he has held key leadership roles at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK. Dr. Mahmud has published over 350 peer-reviewed works, accumulating more than 10,400 citations, and has been listed among the top 2% of cited scientists in computer science globally since 2021.
