Maria Piqueras-Pérez is a lecturer (Assistant lecturer with a PhD) in English Studies at the University of the Balearic Islands. She holds a PhD (2024) in Arts and Humanities from the University of Murcia, where she conducted doctoral research on Black British media cultures. She has been a Visiting Researcher at the University of Westminster, King's College London, and the University of Liverpool.
