As a consequence of the societal volatility of our current era, business innovation models have expanded to address not only economic, but also social and environmental needs. This book look into how businesses are increasingly operating as components within larger systems, driven by factors such as environmental concerns, precarious welfare conditions, and technological advancements. This evolution leads to a community-based approach where diverse actors, including social, economic, and institutional entities, collaborate to address societal and environmental needs. Drawn from the authors’ research, this book explores cases and analyses the landscape of scholarly literature to propose a framework for the expanded responsibility of innovation.
