Topics that are covered include Sustainability of Manufacturing in the context of Industry 4.0, SMART Manufacturing and Management Approaches, and Ubiquitous Digitalization, Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality in manufacturing organizations.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLucia Knapčíková is the vice-dean for International Relations and Mobility at the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies (FMT), Technical University of Košice. She completed her Ph.D. in 2011 and her Habilitation in Manufacturing Technologies in 2017. Associate Prof. Knapčíková is the author of over 260 scientific papers and holds six utility models. She has participated in multiple international research projects, especially in Germany. Her most notable project is the H2020 Less Than Wagon Load initiative (2017–2020), where she served as a faculty project coordinator in collaboration with Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Slovakia. The project focused on developing a SMART logistics cluster to shift chemical-industry freight transport from road to rail in the Port of Antwerp. She also participated in the EUROSTARS BRIDGE2ERA project with the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau, focused on Industry 4.0 alignment between universities and SMEs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDragan Peraković earned his Master’s degree and Ph.D. from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences (FPZ), University of Zagreb, where he now serves as the head of the Department for Information and Communication Traffic and head of the Chair of Information Communication Systems and Services Management. He has contributed to numerous international scientific and R\u0026amp;D projects, including CiViTAS ELAN, HINT, and GIFT. He has also led major national projects on smartphone use, IoT applications for improving mobility and safety of blind or visually impaired persons, and ICT services for people with reduced mobility. Prof. Peraković is the author or co-author of more than 100 scientific papers (including two CC-indexed papers) and five book chapters.
