Dr. Jyotsna Kumar Mandal, M. Tech. in Computer Science from University of Calcutta in 1987, awarded Ph. D. (Engineering) in Computer Science and Engineering by Jadavpur University in 2000. Working as Professor of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Kalyani. Former Vice Chancellor, Raiganj University, West Bengal, Former Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Technology & Management, KU for two consecutive terms during 2008-2012. Former Director, IQAC and Chairman CIRM Kalyani University. Served as Professor Computer Applications, Kalyani Government Engineering College for two years. He was Associate Professor Computer Science for eight years at North Bengal University and Assistant Professor Computer Science North Bengal University for seven years. He also served as lecturer at NERIST, Itanagar for one year. 36 years of teaching and research experience in Coding Theory, Data and Network Security and authentication; Remote Sensing & GIS based Applications, Data Compression, Error Correction, Visual Cryptography and Steganography. Awarded 31 Ph. D. Degrees and 4 are pursuing. Supervised 03 M. Phil, more than 80 M. Tech and more than 130 M.C.A. Dissertations. Published more than 450 research articles Recently he has published a textbook on Reversible Steganography and Authentication via Transform Encoding from Springer. This book has been translated into Chinese Language and republished from China by the Springer. Organized more than 65 International Conferences and Corresponding Editors of edited volumes and conference publications of Springer, IEEE and Elsevier etc. and edited 65 volumes as volume editor. Received Siksha Ratna Award from Government of West Bengal, India for outstanding teaching and research work in 2018, A. M. Bose Memorial Silver medal and Kali Prasanna Dasgupta Memorial Silver medal from Jadavpur University, Vidyasagar Award from International Society for Science Technology in 2018, Research Icon Award, University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata in 2023 and , Academic Excellence Award from University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata in 2024, Highest (220) Scopus based publication in last ten years among all faculty members (220) of the University of Kalyani. Debashis De is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India. He received MTech from the University of Calcutta, in 2002 and a Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2005. He is a Senior Member-IEEE, Fellow IETE, and Life member CSI. He was awarded the prestigious Boyscast Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to work at the Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. He received the Endeavour Fellowship Award from 2008–2009 by DEST Australia to work at the University of Western Australia. He received the Young Scientist award in 2005 at New Delhi and in 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey, from the International Union of Radio Science, Belgium. In 2016 he received the JC Bose research award from IETE, New Delhi. In 2019 he received the Shiksha-Ratna Award from the Govt. of West Bengal. He published in 400 journals and 200 conference papers, 20 books, and granted 4 patents. He has projects sponsored by AICTE, UGC, WBDST, DST, WBDST, World Bank, AWS, and MeitY. He served as chairman of CSI and IETE Kolkata, SLET of IEEE COMSOC. His h index is 46, the citation is 11,00. He is listed in the top 2% scientists of the world. His research interests are Edge-AI, IoT, and Quantum Computing.
