Dr. Pavitra Parimala Krishnamani is an emergency physician and digital health innovator who has spent her career at the intersection of medicine and emerging technologies. She is an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and serves as Affiliate Faculty at the Institute for Data Science in Oncology. She additionally serves as a Physician Innovation Partner and the Director for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health Education at her institution. In recognition of her patient-centered clinical practice, she was awarded the prestigious Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award by the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine. Dr. Krishnamani practices medicine with a firm conviction that the thoughtful integration of digital health technologies requires all voices to be heard and, if done right, can create meaningful change for patients around the world.

Her own journey in digital health innovation began early in her career. Having completed her fellowship in healthcare innovation while in medical school, Dr. Krishnamani staunchly believes that multidisciplinary teams with a strong understanding of the digital health ecosystem will create the most effective and scalable change. Throughout the years, she has had the privilege of serving as the clinical voice within cross-functional teams to design and evaluate solutions using a variety of digital health modalities including virtual reality, telehealth, and artificial intelligence. A sought-after speaker and thought leader, she regularly shares her insights at massive industry events, including ViVE, HLTH Europe, SXSW, Inventures, Becker's Digital Health Conference, and Stanford's MedXEd.
