Akbar Dorgalaleh is a hematologist and scientific researcher specializing in thrombosis and hemostasis. He has (co-)authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis. Dr. Dorgalaleh is the editor or co-editor of approximately ten published or forthcoming academic books, including Congenital Bleeding Disorders: Diagnosis and Management (2nd edition, Springer, 2023). His academic work primarily focuses on inherited bleeding disorders, thrombophilia, and laboratory diagnostics in thrombosis and hemostasis, with particular emphasis on diagnostic strategies, laboratory evaluation, and advances in the understanding and management of these conditions.
Dr. Dorgalaleh is also a current or former member of several international scientific societies and working parties, including the Scientific and Standardization Committee (SSC) on Factor XIII and Fibrinogen of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), as well as the International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH).

Anvarjon Samadov is a medical laboratory professional with extensive experience in clinical diagnostics and laboratory medicine. During his professional career, Mr. Samadov has developed substantial expertise in the practical and diagnostic aspects of laboratory medicine, particularly in hematology and coagulation testing. He is also the co-editor of the book Laboratory Investigations of Thrombophilia (Springer, 2025).
