This book presents research findings on intelligent networks and security mechanisms that safeguard them. This book also focuses on security introduction and framework for intelligent networks, security and privacy system for different intelligent networks applications, authenticity and access control of different intelligent networks applications, blockchain and AI-based intrusion detection system and performance validation of different security frameworks of intelligent networks.

Rajdeep Chatterjee (Senior Member, IEEE) received his B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering degree from The University of Burdwan in 2008 and both the M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from KIIT Deemed to be University, India, in 2011 and 2020, respectively. He also qualified for GATE-2008 with an All India Rank of 1410. He is currently working as an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT, India. He has published more than a hundred research articles in reputed conferences and journals. He is a recipient of the Chester W. Sall Memorial Awards 2023 for 2nd place. He has initiated the international series of conferences on Computational Intelligence and Networks. His research areas include machine learning, deep learning, brain-computer interface, and computer vision.

Dr. Tanmoy Maitra : Dr. Tanmoy Maitra is an assistant professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar-751024, Odisha, India. He did his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata-700032, India in 2020. He passed M.Tech. and B.E. from West Bengal University of Technology, West Bengal in 2013 and Burdwan University in 2009, respectively. He qualified GATE 2011 and GATE 2012. He received IEEE Consumer Technology Society Chester Sall Memorial Award in 2023. He has published more than 50 International journal and conference articles in the domain of wireless sensor networks (WSNs), body area network (BAN) and authentication systems for several applications. His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Body Area Network, Blockchain Technology, and Information Security. He is a senior member of the IEEE.

Hrudaya Kumar Tripathy is a Professor and Director of Doctoral Research at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Berhampur University and an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Guwahati. He has also undertaken postdoctoral research in Malaysia and has over two decades of teaching, research, and academic experience. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Vision, Healthcare AI, and intelligent systems. He has contributed extensively to research through publications in international journals and conferences and has edited books with leading academic publishers, including Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, and IGI Global. He has also contributed to patents and research projects involving AI and machine learning. Dr. Tripathy is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Life Member of the Computer Society of India. He has received recognition, including the CSI Young IT Professional Award, and recognition for his academic and research contributions.

Debasis Giri is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Information Technology, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology), West Bengal, India. He did his master's (M.Tech and M.Sc) both from IIT Kharagpur, India, and also completed his PhD from IIT Kharagpur, India. He is a 10th all-India rank holder in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 1999. He received a certificate from the All India Science Teachers' Association in the Science Aptitude & Talent Search Test in 1988. He received the Chester W Sall Memorial Award, 2nd place for the paper titled "Real-Time Speech Emotion Analysis for Smart Home Assistants" in the 2023 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE2023). His current research interests include Cryptography, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, E-commerce security, AI/ML and Design & Analysis of Algorithms. He has authored more than 180 research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. He is an author of more than 20 edited books/conference proceedings. He is a member of IEEE and a life member of Cryptology Research Society of India, and the International Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation (ISAAC).

Tarek Gaber is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Computer Science at the University of Salford, UK, and Full Professor at Suez Canal University, Egypt (on leave). He holds a PhD in Computer Science (Cybersecurity) from the University of Manchester. He served as Director of the IT Unit and Head of the IT Department at Suez Canal University, and Programme Leader for Salford's MSc in Cybersecurity. He has authored over 130 peer-reviewed publications, led or co-investigated projects worth over £7 million, and ranks among the world's top 2% of scientists (Stanford). A frequent Programme Chair and invited speaker internationally, he is Associate Editor of Q1 journals including PeerJ Computer Science, PLOS One and the Journal of King Saud University – Computer and Information Sciences. With two decades in cybersecurity and AI, his research focuses on resilient AI, secure digital infrastructures and Safe AI deployment across industry and the public sector.
