This book features selected papers from the 12th International Conference on Mathematics and Computing (ICMC 2025), held at LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT) Jaipur, India during January 08 - 10, 2026. It covers recent advances in the field of mathematics, statistics, and scientific computing. The book presents innovative work by leading academics, researchers, and experts from industry in mathematics, statistics, cryptography, network security, cyber security, machine learning, data analytics, and blockchain technology in computer science and information technology. The book is divided into two volumes.

Dr. Debasis Giri is currently working as an associate professor in the Department of Information Technology, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology), West Bengal, India. Prior to this, he also held academic positions as a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and dean in the School of Electronics, Computer Science and Informatics, Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, India. His current research interests include cryptography, information security, cybersecurity, blockchain, e-commerce security, AI/ML and Design & Analysis of Algorithms.
Dr. S. Ponnusamy is currently the chair professor at IIT Madras and the president of the Ramanujan Mathematical Society, India. His research interest includes complex analysis, special functions, and functions spaces. He served five years as a head of the Indian Statistical Institute, Chennai Centre. He is the chief editor of the Journal of Analysis and serves as an editorial member for many peer-reviewed international journals. He has written five textbooks and edited several volumes and international conference proceedings. He has solved several long-standing open problems and conjectures and published more than 300 research articles in reputed international journals.
Dr. Indrajit Ray is a full professor and associate chair in the Computer Science department at Colorado State University. From March 2018 until July 2021, he was a program director in the Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace program at the National Science Foundation. He has more than 28 years of experience in cybersecurity, attack modeling and detection, and privacy with emphasis on security and resiliency of cyber-physical systems, security risk modeling and management, applied cryptography and protocols, human factors in security, and trust models and management.
Javier Lopez is a full professor and head of the Network, Information and Computer Security (NICS) Lab at the University of Malaga, Malaga, 29071, Spain. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science in 1992 and 2000, respectively, from University of Malaga, and from 1991 to 1994, he worked as a system analyst in the private sector. His activities are mainly focused on network security and critical information infrastructures, leading a number of national and international research projects in those areas
Maribel Fernández is a professor of Computer Science at King’s College London, where she is currently vice dean in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences. Her research interests include computation models, programming languages, and the development of tools for the analysis and verification of software systems. She uses rewriting-based techniques to analyze the dynamic behavior, security and reliability of systems in various domains (e.g., Internet of things, finance, biochemistry) and has developed modeling and simulation tools based on graph rewriting in collaboration with researchers in the UK and abroad.
Jayaprakash Kar has received his M.Sc. and M.Phil. in Mathematics from Sambalpur University and M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Computer Science (Cryptographic Protocols) from Utkal University, India. He is a visiting researcher of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, Canada. Currently, he is working as a professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, the LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur, India. Prof. Kar is the center-lead of “Center for Cryptology, Cyber security and Digital Forensics” (C3-SDF). His current research interests are on cryptographic protocols and primitives using elliptic curve and pairing-based cryptography in the random oracle and standard model, zero-knowledge proofs, secret sharing, and multi-party computation.
