Kun Zhou is Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received both his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in mechanical engineering from Tsinghua University, China in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and his Ph.D. in engineering mechanics from NTU in 2006. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Northwestern University, USA during 2007-2010. He has led his group to work on over 20 government and industrial projects as a principal investigator, of which over 10 are on additive manufacturing with the funding of over SG$20 million. Currently, he serves as Programme Director to lead the Marine & Offshore section in Singapore Centre for 3D Printing. He serves as a Co-Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Micromechanics and Molecular Physics, and an editorial board member of Virtual and Physical Prototyping and six other international journals.
Wei Zhu is Research Fellow in the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China in 2018. He has been engaged in polymer additive manufacturing for over seven years and published over 20 papers in international journals including Advanced Functional Materials, Additive Manufacturing, Materials & Design, and International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture.
Jiaming Bai is Assistant Professor and the Principal Investigator of the Additive Manufacturing and Design Lab in the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology, China. He received his Ph.D. from Loughborough University, UK, in 2014. His research is mainly focused on the 3D printing of nanocomposite materials, ceramic materials, and functional structural components. He has been working with some of the top 3D printing machine manufacturers, material producers and end users in the industry, and has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers related to 3D printing.
