This geoscientific study combines work on geologic, geophysical, tectonic, geochemical, petrological, and mining aspects in a region of the Central Andes covering parts of Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. Supplemented with three maps, it is worthwhile, especially for those geoscientists who are engaged in research on the development of active continental margins.
