Well-Being in Academia
Anja Gottburgsen | Yvette Hofmann | Monika Jungbauer-Gans
What is the state of health at universities? What does it take for students, faculty, and employees to feel healthy and well? The contributions in this volume demonstrate that well-being in academia extends far beyond individual resilience, but emerges from the interplay of institutional structures, organizational cultures, social support, and academic demands. The findings highlight both the substantial challenges faced by different status groups in higher education and the critical role of supportive, health-promoting environments in fostering sustainable academic success.
