Phil. (penicillin\r\nbiosynthesis) from University of Oxford. He then worked on clavulanic acid\r\nbiosynthesis as a postdoctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins University. His\r\nresearch interests involve understanding the mechanism of diradical generating\r\nreactions and their applications, development of enzyme inhibitors as\r\nantimicrobial agents and molecular capture chemistry. He has received several\r\nprestigious awards and fellowships for his research contribution.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eRanadhir Chakraborty\u003c\/b\u003e was born in\r\nDarjeeling. He has worked for Ph.D in the Department of Microbiology, Bose\r\nInstitute, Kolkata, India. He is at present serving the Department of\r\nBiotechnology, University of North Bengal, in the capacity of Professor and\r\nHead.
