He is also Visiting Professor at the Irish Centre for Catholic Studies, MIC, Limerick, Ireland and Docent at the University of Helsinki Finland. He has also served as Conjoint Professor at Newcastle University, Australia; Adjunct Professor at the Australian Catholic University; and Extraordinary Professor North-West University, South Africa. He has held previous roles as Professor of Education at the University of Roehampton, and Research Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Plymouth.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eZehavit Gross \u003c\/strong\u003eis a Full Professor of Education and former Dean of the Faculty of Education at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. She holds the UNESCO Chair in Education for Human Values, Tolerance, and Peace and heads the Sal Van Gelder Center for Holocaust Instruction and Research. Her research focuses on religious education, peace and interfaith education, Holocaust pedagogy, and social cohesion. She has published extensively in leading international journals and is regularly invited as a keynote speaker and visiting scholar worldwide. Prof. Gross is a former President of the Israeli Comparative Education Society (ICES)  and a Research Fellow at the University of Sydney and the Truman Institute for Peace Research in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She is currently the president of the Israeli Association for Philosophy of Education (IAPE).\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWilliam Mascitello \u003c\/strong\u003ePh.D. is a religious education professional with commitments in the academic world as well as religious education ministry. He teaches as an adjunct Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Felician University in Lodi, New Jersey where he administered the Master of Arts in Religious Education (MARE) Program for five years. Bill is a Pastoral Associate at St. Mary’s Church in Dumont, New Jersey, with responsibilities that include religious education and sacramental preparation, among others.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eElizabeth Mackintosh (Beth) \u003c\/strong\u003eis a Lecturer of Philosophy and Theology at the University of Winchester. Her overarching research focus is within moral philosophy and moral education, medical ethics and the intersection of animal and environmental ethics in environmental philosophy. More recently her focus has been on the work of the late British philosopher Mary Midgley and her role within the Quartet. She leads the UK leg of the ‘Philosophy in the Wild – Finding Hope in Mixed Communities’ public philosophy project, inspired by Midgley’s concept of the mixed community. Dr Matemba is co-editor for the British Journal of Religious Education and has published widely in the field of Religious Education.
