Her research interests focus on Education Policy Studies, Globalization, and the Internationalization of Higher Education. Dr Li currently also plays the role of a 'think tanker' at the China Institute of Education and Social Development, Beijing Normal University. She has published more than 100 papers in Chinese and English in multiple SSCI (Social Sciences Citation Index) and CSSCI (Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index) indexed journals, such as \u003ci\u003eHigher Education\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eInternational Journal of Education Research\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eEducational Philosophy and Theory\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eEducational Research\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eComparative Education Research\u003c\/i\u003e, and \u003ci\u003eChina Education Journal\u003c\/i\u003e.
