Dr. Wan Zhanhong is Professor at Ocean College of Zhejiang University and Ph.D. Supervisor. His research interests cover port, coastal and offshore engineering; clean energy and water resources; fluid mechanics; and air-sea interaction. Over the years, Dr. WAN has published more than 60 academic papers and holds over 30 patents, with significant contributions to national and provincial research projects. Dr. WAN has served as Guest Editor for several prestigious journals, including: The Journal of Coastal Research (JCR), Special Issue: “Coordinated Sustainable Development in Coastal Areas: Environment and Economy”.  Additionally, he is Member of the editorial board for Satellite Oceanography and Meteorology (SOM) and Water Economics and Policy. His extensive editorial experience and in-depth knowledge of water resources management, policy, and sustainable development make him well-equipped to contribute as Guest Editor for the ISWPT 2025 proceedings.
