He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics —recognized as one of the best students in Mexico of his generation— as well as a Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and a PhD in Computer Science, all with honors. He conducted his postdoctoral studies at Osaka University, was a Visiting Scientist at the Research Laboratory of Electronics of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Psychology at Stanford University. His research interests focus on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Education, Cognition, and Learning, a field where he has led dozens of research and academic projects.
